FAQS:

1. What is Milk Barfi?

Milk Barfi is a popular Indian sweet made from condensed milk and sugar and sometimes flavored with cardamom or saffron. It has a fudge-like consistency and is often garnished with nuts.

2. Is it difficult to make Milk Barfi at home?

While Milk Barfi requires careful attention to detail, it is not overly difficult to make at home. With the right ingredients and following the recipe steps correctly, you can achieve delicious results.

3. Can I use regular milk instead of condensed milk?

Traditional Milk Barfi recipes call for condensed milk, which gives it a rich and creamy texture. Using regular milk would require a longer cooking time to reduce and thicken it to the desired consistency. However, it's possible to make Milk Barfi from scratch using regular milk by simmering it until it thickens and reduces in volume.

4. How do I prevent my Milk Barfi from sticking to the pan?

To prevent the mixture from sticking to the pan while cooking, make sure to use a heavy-bottomed pan and stir continuously. Also, greasing the pan with ghee (clarified butter) or lining it with parchment paper can help prevent sticking.

5. How do I store Milk Barfi?

Once the Milk Barfi is set and cooled completely, store it in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3-4 days. If you live in a hot and humid climate, it's best to store it in the refrigerator to prolong its shelf life.
